DarksideArt.com is the online orphanage of the twisted brainchildren of Ted Tutor - artist, sculptor, musician.
A born artist, Ted has been drawing since he was a child, later producing delicate, yet bold pen & ink compositions that ranged in character from whimsical to disturbing. In his early twenties, Ted began dabbling in metalworking, creating a better than perfect real-life replica of the Freddy Kreuger's glove from Nightmare on Elm Street. From there, he incorporated his lifelong fascination with animal anatomy and paleontology, creating his first mixed-media sculptures from animal bones and found objects.
Ted started working in digital media in 1999. Since then, he has become adept at modeling in Lightwave, as well as creating works in Photoshop. As always, his works skim the collective unconscious with images that are sometimes startling in their aptness.
